In Verily's Letter of Intent the new feature was seeking to assess Parkinson's disease symptoms in clinical trials.

Along with the support of a Google Cloud-backed data platform, the partners will work to build and validate digital health programs for early intervention and engagement.

The randomized controlled trial of the jointly-developed digital therapeutics will be conducted using Verily's Project Baseline and enroll up to 540 patients. 

Alongside new support for hypertension and mental health, the company has also introduced Spanish language support to its app and live services.
