DarioHealth buys into MSK with Upright Technologies acquisition and announces $70M private placement
The $31 million purchase will add new capabilities to DarioHealth's condition management and behavior change platform.

The announcement comes a few months after Medtronic acquired the InPen device's original maker, Companion Medical.
The partnership will leverage on Holmusk’s GlycoLeap platform to help patients achieve weight loss and improved blood glucose control.
Outcomes from the randomized controlled trial were presented today at a virtual conference. The company and its research partners say this study differs from others due to its size and length.
Following a soft launch in September, the GluCare Integrated Diabetes Center says it monitors the data of its patients in real-time, plus employs digital therapeutics.
The aim is to use the technology to track daily patient data and “plan interventional strategies in real-time to avoid complications of the disease,” the centre said.
The study used Podimetrics SmartMats to take the temperature of participants’ feet and scan for signs of inflammation.
The company also announced a new partnership with Anthem.
Along with funds announced a few months back, this brings the round's total to $20.8 million.
