The Visibly Digital Acuity Product uses a touchscreen mobile device paired with a computer to test how sharp a user's vision is at a distance.

According to the recall document, the company didn't have FDA authorization to market the product. 

The suit, filed in Indiana’s Marion County Superior Court, names The Medical Licensing Board of Indiana and the Indiana Professional Licensing Agency, as well as several officials from those agencies, as the defendants. 

The new funding will help the company expand its teams and raise awareness of its product.

The new test lets consumers renew a prescription in less that 15 minutes.
