The 21st Century Cures Act is providing opportunities for health tech startups, says Dr. Donald Rucker, chief of the Office of the National Coordinator for Healthcare Information Technology.

According to a new study published in JAMA, researchers found that the rate of unique users downloading their health records through an API on a month-over-month basis was flat. 

Ironically, the agency that goes after companies for false and misleading claims is making them about its own policies.
