HIMSS Media are expanding their Europe/UK editions to encompass MEA, with MobiHealthNews and Healthcare IT News now including a more comprehensive and inclusive Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA) edition.

The acquisition deal is worth $300 million, per CNBC. 

A follow-on analysis found tentative evidence that, unlike in-person CBT, the online intervention could become more effective over the course of a year.

At the keynote address at HIMSS’ Accelerate Health digital series, Sachin Jain, president and CEO of SCAN, shared his experiences during this digital health evolution. 

The funding will go towards expanding their existing markets and for future scaling within Europe and Asia.

This brings their total Pre-Series A round funding amount to $3.4 million.

The round was led by Costanoa Ventures and Spark Capital with participation from Homebrew, Fika Ventures, Precursor Ventures, Core Innovation Capital, Garuda Ventures and Webb Investment Network.
