IntuApps Swine Flu AppIntuApps enjoyed a media storm of publicity this week for its Swine Flu Tracker app, even though the service is not even available yet. Apple is currently reviewing the app, the developer said. As we reported earlier in the week, the app allows users to see the current threat level of swine flu, a map showing the locations of recently diagnosed or suspected cases, a symptoms section with background info on the flu and an alerts page with breaking news.

H1N1 Update for Medical ProfessionalsFinally, another not-yet-available swine flu-related iPhone app is QxMd's H1N1 Update for Medical Professionals. It's the only one that specifically targets physicians and other caregivers, however, it offers more or less the same information as previously discussed swine flu apps already available. This app aggregates information from the World Health Organization (WHO), the Center for Disease Control (CDC) and CNN as well as links to education material from UpToDate Inc.
